Jules V. Widmayer
Julianne Vink Widmayer is a recent graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey, with her degree in Art History and Photography. She has been a photographer since she was twelve, and from that moment considered herself to be an artist who takes pictures. Julianne studied with Abe Matis, an accomplished photographer, for eight years. She has been published in various periodicals, and journals, and is now looking to progress in other fine art endeavors.

Some of Julianne's work focuses on the ideals and notions of the public, and social issues. However, a great deal of her work juxtaposes itself, and reflects on memory, child like tendencies, and removal of the human element. Her work can demonstrate a child like fantasy, but also create a sense of tension, as if something bad were about to happen, or perhaps someone was waiting just around the corner.

Jules finds inspiration in: Billie Holiday, science fiction movies from the 50's, ahi tuna, vintage robots, the smell of crumb cake, collecting favorite sounds, as well as all things Hitchcock related.
